Native American Celebration

The Second Grade had a wonderful time on Friday afternoon celebrating Native Americans! They had a delicious feast, and they participated in activities in all of the second grade classrooms. They made musical instruments, dream catchers, tipis, pueblo sun symbols with sand painting, pattern block designs, and they played traditional Native American games! Thank you to all of the parents for donating such amazing dishes, and for all of your help in making our event successful!

Be sure to stop by the second grade hallway to check our many representations of different tribes throughout North America! Also, don't forget that Tuesday is our Native American Culminating Activity. The feast will begin at 11:30 and the rotations will begin at 1:00.
