The students of 2A have been learning how to use 4-Squares to help them organize their writing. They were asked to write a paragraph with a topic sentence, details, and feeling/closing sentence all on the subject of games! They did a fabulous job of staying on topic and coming up with ideas to help them write. 2A loves Writing Workshop because it gives them a time to choose what they enjoy writing about, and they really take ownership over their writing. Some students enjoy writing poetry, narratives, realistic fiction pieces, and non-fiction writing. It has been a joy to see a variety of writing represented across the class.
